Pulp sci-fi heroes -- could be a romp...

Just two renders today, folks, because I have a splitting headache and just can't go any further with this! The post is going to be a bit short, but I might come back to this in future, because it could be a romp.

Here's the scenario: Tall Dark and Beautiful here (imagine a cross between Tyr Anasazi and Ronon Dex -- you get the picture) hasn't been out of military service for long, and he's just discovered himself saddled with the ne'er-do-well adoptive son of a bud from the service who's either vanished or vamoosed. The kid is something of an airhead, with biiiiiig plans to get rich quick, including (but not limited to) a treasure map. The robot is his minder -- there to either a) stop him getting into too much trouble, or b) get him out of trouble any way it can, including c) bailing him on occasion.

You could get into a lot of trouble, saddled with a sense of obligation to the bud who saved your live, and an airhead with a treasure map in which about half the pieces are either missing or unintelligible. Only the robot makes much sense around here, and oh, the ignominy of it, when the robot has to bail them both out, after the obligatory bar fight with the guys who want to steal the treasure map ... or is it, steal it back?! But if they want it so badly, this hints at the fact it might be genuine. Right? There could actually be a mother lode out there ...

Big headache, folks. Gotta go...
